The Coding Challenges / THE STORY
You can see the way. Can you teach the robot to find it?
The Lonely Robot is a local, individual 3D Unity coding game. You write the robot’s mind instead of steering it with a keyboard or gamepad. Read the information it sends back and decide what it should try next.
The interesting gap is between what you can see and what your robot knows. Motion, contact, traction and battery information give your program evidence; reliable behavior has to grow from that evidence.
This local 3D project is separate from the 2D Lonely Robot arena used in the wider group and tournament lineup.
What does a little robot need to understand before it can make its own way?
Where it is, honestly.
