THE CODE IS THE CONTROLLER
A gym for engineering judgment, dressed as a game.
Write the bot. Read the world. See what your decisions do. The Coding Challenge brings learning, assessment and play together for individuals, teams, small groups and very large events.
It began with cipher challenges and printed activities, before AI coding assistants. Today the range includes 2D arenas and local 3D Unity games, with 2.5D work in progress.
01 / LOCAL · INDIVIDUAL · 3D UNITY
Run a Unity game on your own computer and build its controller in code. Two-way TCP messages carry observations and commands; the game handles the physical world. These are individual local experiences, separate from the 2D event arenas.

Write the driver, then watch it drive. A local 3D Unity game where your software reads telemetry and sends the commands that control the car.
DISCOVER THE GAME ↗A local 3D Unity defense game controlled by your code. Read incoming threats, aim the turret through commands, and let the physical simulation decide the outcome.
DISCOVER THE GAME ↗A small robot wakes in a much larger world. Build its mind in code, read the telemetry it can sense, and turn software improvements into more capable movement.
DISCOVER THE GAME ↗02 / 2D · GROUPS · TEAMS · TOURNAMENTS
Code-controlled 2D experiences for groups, teams and tournaments, including large multiplayer sessions and solo progression within particular games. Most tournament-eligible games are private; ask for a demo or arrange event access.

Read a neon grid, collect pellets, and navigate changing visibility and pressure.

Aim interceptors at incoming meteors and protect the cities below. The 2D arena is separate from Planetary Defense Anarchy.

Write a driver for a colliding 2D circuit and compete with other code-controlled cars.

Plan routes, manage a working day, and guide a robotic mower through the property.
