Simulation & Story / THE STORY

A safe landing is only the beginning.

The instruments tell you what the aircraft is doing. The terrain tells you how little room you have left. Somewhere beyond the ridge is a place you might be able to land, and people who need you to get it right.

Lifeline brings careful aircraft handling together with authored journeys and rescue work. Find a route through the mountains, weigh a nearer landing against a safer approach, or carry a passenger out of an isolated place. Mara's briefings give the flight a reason; getting everyone back to the ground makes it personal.

What you do

Read the aircraft and the land

Manage the approach through cockpit instruments, manual controls, terrain and weather. A nearer landing is not always the easier choice.

Give each flight a purpose

Authored journeys and Mara’s briefings put people behind the approach. Passenger loads and rescue departures make a safe arrival matter.

Stop, plan, fly again

Secured Field Operations give story journeys a grounded pause between useful legs. A fully persistent connected campaign is still being developed.

THE QUESTION I’M EXPLORING

What makes a flight worth taking when every safe arrival gives you another reason to leave?

Where it is, honestly.

Landing challenges and substantial story-mode work are playable in development builds. Recent work adds grounded Field Operations, clearer maps, and a developing storm front. The fully persistent community-and-aircraft campaign is still in development.

Where it could go

The longer journey is about keeping places connected: restoring a radio link, carrying someone to the aircraft they can fly, or returning with supplies a community actually needs. That connected campaign is the direction being built toward, rather than a promise of a finished open-world mode today.
